Our Journey

In 2015, we completed a journey between Orihuela court and London Royal Court of Justice on foot. 44 marathons in 44 days with the hope of raising awareness of parental child abduction and parental alienation and also, on a very personal level, to show my daughter that I would travel the world for
her.

On that occasion, we raised funds for the Reunite
International Child Abduction Centre Charity

This time, with our cycle, as well as having another attempt at raising awareness of these issues, we hope to help to raise funds for another charity Parental Alienation Awareness (1187738) who aim to raise awareness, educate, & campaign against this form of child abuse that needlessly disconnects children, parents, & their extended families.

This, many of you know, I can directly relate to...

We are hoping to raise £2000 to help with publishing and distribution costs in the production of parental alienation awareness brochures.

I understand the covid situation has caused financial hardship for many.. Charities like this are also finding these times extremely testing.

If you cant help financially, thats ok. But could I ask that you share my JustGiving page link so others can help to support this worthy charity?

Thanks all xx

Several ways that YOU can help

Hi all.. I really need your help here.

In Aug/Sept, I am cycling from Cabo Roig, Spain to UK and in doing so, trying to raise some funds for the Parental Alienation Awareness charity.

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/tandemacrossborders-paa

Another objective is to raise awareness of the impact of Parental Child Abduction, parental alienation and how parents, families AND children can be so badly let down in the family courts in various juristictions.

You can help in several ways. Some without even leaving your chair! ANY help would be extremely appreciated:

1) By simply sharing some of my posts prior to and during the cycle. This will help me reach my fundraising target for Parental Alienation Awareness charity and help me to raise awareness of Parental Alienation / Parental Child Abduction.

2) Helping me contact people en route as I would really hope to have people there not only for cycling but also as as emergency contact should we get into any difficulties.

3) Help me find company sponsors for each day of the journey who I can promote on my blog/vlog.

Thank you so far to Perfect Face Studio and Costa Blanca Bike Hire for sponsoring various days

4) If local to the area I am passing through, why not cycle with me as my named Stokers from part of a stage (or more of course). Or cycle alongside on your own bike.

Thank you so far to Mike Henstridge who is cycling the whole of Spain and to others who are meeting en route in UK to take over as my co-rider.

5) Contacting media in the areas that we will be cycling. ALL awareness is important !

6) If on route, arrange to meet with me/us. Coffees and refreshments are always welcome ;-)

I DONT expect people to travel out of their locality to cycle but you CAN help by trying to make contact with people from those areas that might cycle with me.
