Our Journey

In 2015, we completed a journey between Orihuela court and London Royal Court of Justice on foot. 44 marathons in 44 days with the hope of raising awareness of parental child abduction and parental alienation and also, on a very personal level, to show my daughter that I would travel the world for
her.

On that occasion, we raised funds for the Reunite
International Child Abduction Centre Charity

This time, with our cycle, as well as having another attempt at raising awareness of these issues, we hope to help to raise funds for another charity Parental Alienation Awareness (1187738) who aim to raise awareness, educate, & campaign against this form of child abuse that needlessly disconnects children, parents, & their extended families.

This, many of you know, I can directly relate to...

We are hoping to raise £2000 to help with publishing and distribution costs in the production of parental alienation awareness brochures.

About Tandem Across Borders & Revised Schedule 2022 / Acerca de Tandem Across Borders & Calendario revisado 2022

Tandem Across Borders is supporting 2 UK charities

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 In Aug/Sept 2022, I am cycling on tandem bike from Orihuela Costa, Spain to UK (rearranged after postponement last year due to Covid restrictions) and in doing so, trying to raise some funds for the Alice's Escapes Charity (1146011) and also the Parental Alienation Awareness Charity (1187738).

🇪🇦 En agosto/septiembre de 2022, viajaré en bicicleta tándem desde Orihuela Costa, España hasta el Reino Unido (reorganizado después del aplazamiento el año pasado debido a las restricciones de Covid) y, al hacerlo, intentaré recaudar algunos fondos para Alice's Escapes Charity (1146011) y también la organización benéfica de concienciación sobre la alienación de los padres (1187738).

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 On route, various volunteers will be cycling with me as my stokers / co-riders.
