In 2015, we completed a journey between Orihuela court and London Royal Court of Justice on foot. 44 marathons in 44 days with the hope of raising awareness of parental child abduction and parental alienation and also, on a very personal level, to show my daughter that I would travel the world for
On that occasion, we raised funds for the Reunite
International Child Abduction Centre Charity
This time, with our cycle, as well as having another attempt at raising awareness of these issues, we hope to help to raise funds for another charity which is close to our heart and in memory of an inspirational young lady Alice Pyne (Alices Escapes (1146011))
I am aiming to raise £5000 to fund the upkeep of one of their caravans.
The charity offers complimentary holidays for families with seriously-ill-children, along with breaks for those who have lost their child. Please read more about this amazing charity on the link.

The second charity is Parental Alienation Awareness (1187738) who aim to raise awareness, educate, & campaign against this form of child abuse that needlessly disconnects children, parents, & their extended families.
This, many of you know, I can directly relate to...
We are hoping to raise £2000 to help with publishing and distribution costs in the production of parental alienation awareness brochures.

I understand the covid situation has caused financial hardship for many.. Charities like this are also finding these times extremely testing.
If you cant help financially, thats ok. But could I ask that you share my JustGiving page links so others can help to support one or both of these worthy charities?
Thanks all xx

Alice, when she became ill at such a young age, created a bucket list of things she wanted to do in the time she had left.. And she achieved many of them, including setting up the Alice's Escapes charity.. That is strength, grit and determination.. She never gave up right until the end.. This is her legacy so I am happy to be able to help in a small way to keep that alive.

I am sending this message out to family, friends, supporters of the Alice's Escapes charity and anybody else who might be reading this.
PLEASE SHARE THIS POST. Even if you can't help in any other way
As you might already know, in August 2020, I intend to cycle on tandem between Cabo Roig, Spain and UK. Approximately 2600km in 21 days.
The charity I am supporting for this cycle is Alice's Escapes who offer complimentary holidays for families with seriously-ill-children, along with breaks for those who have lost their child.
I am sure you will agree, this is an extremely worthy cause. Please click on these links to learn more.
Any donations, no matter how small would be greatly appreciated.
During the ride, on a separate issue, I will also be trying to raise awareness of Parental Child Abduction, parental alienation and failures in the family court processes which have a significant importance to me and my family.
The route plan for the cycle is shown on my blog post link below
I will be cycling the full distance but the plan is to have various co-riders/stokers on each day. The distance these volunteers complete is entirely up to them. Whether it's 10km or 100km I would so appreciate the support.
It could be that groups of people travel together in the same car so one could ride while the others act as the support vehicle and swap over during the stage(s). That would also allow for the volunteer Stokers to be taken to their required end point at the end of the day.
I have created Facebook Events for each stage which you can let me know which days you would like to help and we can group people together to make the necessary arrangements.
I will post the names of volunteers on these event pages (unless you tell me otherwise) and will put you in contact with others volunteering on the same day to arrange transport etc.
Any days or part days that I dont have a Co-Riders / Stoker with me, I will be cycling alone. Obviously, I would rather have somebody cycling with me at ALL times but realise that might not be possible
Also each day, I hope to find one or more company sponsors that will be advertised on the blogs/vlogs/youtube that we post en route. Any company / organisation who donates €50+ will be mentioned and advertised with thanks. If you wish, we could also arrange advertising on shirts etc. Please contact me to discuss further.
