Our Journey

In 2015, we completed a journey between Orihuela court and London Royal Court of Justice on foot. 44 marathons in 44 days with the hope of raising awareness of parental child abduction and parental alienation and also, on a very personal level, to show my daughter that I would travel the world for
her.

On that occasion, we raised funds for the Reunite
International Child Abduction Centre Charity

This time, with our cycle, as well as having another attempt at raising awareness of these issues, we hope to help to raise funds for another charity Parental Alienation Awareness (1187738) who aim to raise awareness, educate, & campaign against this form of child abuse that needlessly disconnects children, parents, & their extended families.

This, many of you know, I can directly relate to...

We are hoping to raise £2000 to help with publishing and distribution costs in the production of parental alienation awareness brochures.

I understand the covid situation has caused financial hardship for many.. Charities like this are also finding these times extremely testing.

If you cant help financially, thats ok. But could I ask that you share my JustGiving page link so others can help to support this worthy charity?

Thanks all xx

Aleyah's 15th birthday

Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter Aleyah. She will be 15 tomorrow !! (25th Aug)

Thank you to those family members and friends who have sent messages, cards etc again (as every year) ... It really means a so much to me that her birthday is remembered and acknowledged and it will to Aleyah I am sure.. Even if she might not be able to show that right now xxxx

As we do every year, we will still try to "celebrate" her birthday in her absence and go to a few places she loved to go to when she was home such as Rio Safari and the Torrevieja boat. And of course, we will have cake..

We put all gifts and cards in a memory chest for her each special day in the hope that one day she will see them to know that I, and people close to me have never.. and WILL never give up on her...

One day closer!!!

“Abuse of the family court systems” article

I remember when I wrote this, it got a mixed reception as it was a very sensitive subject to parents affected by parental alienation and parental child abduction and a few comments argued that it is providing an instruction guide for the alienator. I understand totally, as many parents affected by these behaviours can relate closely to a number of points in this article.

If you have NOT been through the family court processes, these points collectively might seem hard to believe.. After all, the courts work in the best interest of the child right?? There is no smoke without fire right?

This article highlights some tactics used in the hope that people can understand how easily the family court systems can be manipulated..

There are no winners in these cases other that the financial gain of legal professionals.. Least of all the child who stands to be separated from one side of their family (who love the child wholeheartedly) for many years, if not for a lifetime.

It can be a cause of psychological damage and even suicide for both the family and child..

Please read the article and comment if you can. Feedback - positive or negative is appreciated.
